Toni Soler signs his first professional contract after passing through an American University
Good news that comes to us from the United States.
Our Co-founder, Toni Soler, has just signed a professional contract to play in the New Mexico United of the USL Championship (Second division of the country).
Toni was a three-year fellow at Adelphi University (New York), where he graduated in psychology. He was also studying and competing this last semester at the University of Tampa (Florida). During his stay in New York, Toni was named MVP of his conference, was chosen in the ideal eleven of his region and in the eleven ideal of the whole country in the NCAA division II, in addition to being awarded the prize for Best student-athlete of his university.
The USL Championship is the second most important league in the country after the MLS and has two conferences (east and west) and a total of 36 teams. The New Mexico United, which will contest its matches in Albuquerque, NM, will debut in the competition this season. We wish the best of luck to both Toni and the team. Congratulations!
