Tormenta FC, from the USL, new partner of University Soccer
University Soccer will have ties with professional soccer, to provide its players with access to elite soccer when they graduate from the University.
We can officially say that we have reached an agreement with Tormenta FC, from USL One, for a collaboration with University Soccer.
This news will have a great impact on the sporting future of our footballers, as it opens up the possibility of continuing to play at a professional level, once the university stage is over.
In the agreement reached, University Soccer is guaranteed to have a minimum of one player each year doing a trial with the Tormenta FC first team for a period of one week, with the possibility of signing for the club if both club and player wish.
The good relations existing on both sides leave us open doors to bring several players a year, in addition to being able to provide players for the Tormenta FC second team.
As we said, Tormenta FC's first team plays in USL One, which is the third highest category in the country, at a professional level, having its affiliate in USL Two, where Tormenta FC became champion of its division during the summer of 2018. .
Tormenta FC is one of the clubs that has evolved the most in American soccer, since it is worth remembering that its history began in 2015 and they plan to have a new stadium built by the end of 2019 (see photo). Additionally, they are one of the few teams that will compete in USL with two teams at both the professional (USL One) and semi-professional (USL Two) levels.
